Apply to become a DreamSF fellow
The DreamSF Fellowship is a paid leadership program for immigrant youth. Apply in February each year.

Application timeline
The DreamSF Fellowship applications are now closed.
What to do
Eligibility
You can apply if you are:
- over 18
- live in the Bay Area
- available 20 hours a week
- available from 9 am to 12:30 pm every Friday
- proficient in English
- Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required
You also need to go to a 2 or 4 year college. You must either:
- Be currently enrolled
- Planning to enroll
- Or have recently graduated
You can apply regardless of your immigration status.
What you will need
To apply you will need to respond to 4 short answer essays of about 500 words each.
Short answer questions and essay topics are about:
- You professional skills, goals and interests
- The role migration has played in your life
- An example of personal growth

What happens after you apply
We will email you about your application in mid to late May.
If you are selected as a semi-finalist you will have a group and individual interview.
If you are selected for the fellowship, you will start in July.
