In 2020, the Adult Probation Department (APD) launched a Community Advisory Board of formerly incarcerated individuals who represent areas of the City impacted by crime and violence. In tandem with our community partners who provide services to our clients, the Community Advisory Board serves as APD’s liaison to the community, provide input of reentry challenges, advise us on community engagement strategies, and share insight and feedback for ongoing reentry and realignment planning.
