Kate Goldstein-Breyer

Kate Goldstein-Breyer is Co-Executive Director of City Arts & Lectures, a nonprofit arts organization presenting onstage conversations with leading cultural figures from around the world. Each season includes more than forty conversations and lectures — and a few surprise performances, film tributes, and concerts — with outstanding writers, critics, scientists, and performing artists. In addition to the live theater audience, City Arts reaches listeners on 130 public radio stations across the country, and on the City Arts & Lectures podcast.
Prior to joining City Arts & Lectures in 2010, Kate worked in public relations and theater production both on and off Broadway, including for LAByrinth Theater Company and for the Tony Kushner musical, “Caroline, Or Change.”
Kate is a graduate of Columbia University where she earned a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. A fourth generation San Franciscan, her favorite Bay Area films are The Conversation, Basic Instinct, Sorry To Bother You, and Vertigo.
