The Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Section Epidemiology Unit of the SF Department of Public Health regularly keeps track of health information to find out about problems that might affect families, pregnant people, children, preconception people, and teenagers in San Francisco. Looking at this information helps us to improve health care, make rules, plans, and services to make sure everyone in San Francisco has an equitable chance to be healthy.
