You must pay for a location during the entire application process, which takes a long time.
What to do
1. Check your zone
Check to see if your location is zoned for what you plan to do at your business.
You must work with SF Planning to finalize your location. Some zones need Conditional Use Authorization from SF Planning.
Only for storefront retail: See the map of allowable retail zones and proposed locations. You cannot be within 600 ft of a school or another cannabis storefront.
If your location is close to the 600 ft boundary, get a letter of determination from SF Planning.
2. Collect information for your application
Find the Parcel (Block/Lot) of your location on the Property Information Map
Get proof you can operate a cannabis business at your location
