About you

Your fees and plan requirements depend on the type of spaces and permits you choose. A public parklet permit costs $1,130 for the first parking space and $282 for a second space. There is also a minimum $113 annual license fee per parking space. A fixed commercial parklet permit costs $3,390 for the first parking space and $1,695 for a second space. There is also a minimum $2,260 annual license fee per parking space. A moveable commercial parklet permit costs $2,260 for the first parking space and $1,130 for a second space. There is also a minimum $1,695 annual license fee per parking space. Red and blue curbs are not eligible for parking lane use.

Most Shared Spaces can occupy a maximum of 2 parking spaces or 40 linear feet</a>.

Your parking lane

Sidewalk use

Your co-operators are only for informational purposes. As the permit holder, you will have all the legal liability and responsibility for the space use and permit obligations.

Co-operators

For sidewalk use, you must get your neighbor's permission to use any of their sidewalk. For parking lane use, you must get your neighbor's permission for more than half of a neighbor's marked parking space and any encroachment into an unmarked parking space.

This information does not affect your eligibility or priority for this permit. We use it to understand and improve how the City is serving all San Franciscans. This information will be kept private.

Your business ownership

We need a minimum of 5 pictures of your proposed site from street and sidewalk angles to review your application. These pictures are only for information.
