Test as soon as you feel sick
Get tested right away if you have symptoms.
You must start the medicine within 5 days after starting to feel sick—but as soon as possible is best.
If you test negative and you are feeling sick, test again in 1-2 days.
Go to the emergency room or call 911 right away if you have severe COVID-19 symptoms including trouble breathing, chest pain, new confusion, inability to stay awake, or pale lips, eyes, or nails.
