Immigration updates

Unemployment Benefits

DACA holders can get unemployment benefits in California. These benefits are available if you were laid off or lost hours due to the coronavirus crisis. See if you are eligible to apply for unemployment benefits.

ICE enforcement

During the coronavirus outbreak, ICE said it will not carry out enforcement operations at or near health care facilities. This includes hospitals, doctors’ offices, health clinics, and emergency or urgent care facilities. You should get medical help if you need it.

It is important to know your rights around Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

If you think you see Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in San Francisco, you can call the Rapid Response hotline.

Immigration legal help

Community legal service providers are still operating during the coronavirus outbreak. They are available by phone and email. Call an organization to get immigration legal help in your own language.

Financial help for immigrants in the Bay Area

The coronavirus stimulus bill helped millions of Americans. But, this bill did not provide aid for many residents, including undocumented immigrants.

There are other ways for you to get help. Most of these resources need you to fill out an application. If a resource is not available, you should check back again for updated information.
