Judges, attorneys, and others in San Francisco who have a library card to check out materials.

What to do

Go to your account online

To log in: 

  1. Go to the catalog.
  2. Select "My Library Account."
  3. Enter name and last nine digits of the library card barcode.

Once logged in, you can view your due dates, review holds, and renew items.

Manage your account by phone

For renewals

  • You can only renew an item once
  • You cannot renew an item more than 7 days overdue

For holds

  • We'll let you know when the requested item is available
  • We'll hold the item for 3 days

Special cases

Saving your checkout history

We do not automatically keep a record of your checkout history. If you'd like us to maintain a record, you have to opt in.

To keep a record of your checkout history:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select "Reading history"
  3. Select "Opt-in"
