Apply for a small business grant to help you understand and plan for accessibility improvements

This grant will pay for an inspection of your storefront from a Certified Access Specialist or licensed architect and help small businesses required by landlords to comply with the San Francisco Accessible Business Entrance program.

Applications will be closed on June 30, 2022 at 5 PM.  Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis of their application status.

1. Check if your business is eligible

Your business must:

  • Be registered in San Francisco
  • Have less than $2.5M in gross revenue 
  • Be required by your landlord to comply with the San Francisco Accessible Business Entrance (ABE) program
  • Be a place of public accommodation (open to the public)
  • Be located on the ground floor in an existing building
  • Not have a pending lawsuit

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2022 at 5:00 PM PST.

We will ask you a few questions to check if you are eligible for the grant. If you are, you can then apply.

This will take about 15 minutes.
