¿Qué hacer?
1. Decide how you want to be paid
You have two options:
- Direct deposit to your bank account
Have child support payments sent to your checking or savings account. -
Electronic payment card (EPC)
We’ll put your payment on a prepaid debit card. You can use it to buy things in stores or online. You don’t need a bank account or Social Security number to get one.
2. Set up your account
You'll select how to get paid when you follow the prompts online.
- Go to the California State Disbursement Unit
- Select Person Receiving Support
- Register your account

Set up direct deposit by mail
1. Download a direct deposit enrollment form.
2. Drop it off at our office or mail it to the address listed on the form.
Set up prepaid debit by mail
1. Download an electronic payment card enrollment form.
2. Drop it off at our office or mail it to the address listed on the form.

Issues with payment
If you have not gotten paid, you can check your account status:
- Online at Customer Connect
- By phone at 866-901-3212
If you didn’t receive the full amount of your child support payment, it might be because:
- The person paying had a change of job or income
- The person paying had a change in family size or number of their child support cases
- You were charged an annual service fee
For questions about the amount you received, check your account at Customer Connect. Call or email us if you still have questions.
